- How often should roof coating be applied?
Roof coating on a flat roof should be applied about every five years to enhance roof performance and extend lifespan. If a flat roof typically develops pools of water ensure you have the roof coated regularly to avoid the development of slow leaks. However, if the roof leaks after a heavy rain, more than coating is likely needed. How much a roof leak repair costs will depend on the extent of the damage. A yearly roof inspection will catch issues early so that minor roof repairs can be performed before they turn into worse problems.
