Step 4: Complete Ridge Assembly Rebuild

For severely rotted or undersized original beams we will:

Remove the existing ridge board completely
Install engineered LVL or glulam beam sized for current loads
Put new rafter hangers and hurricane ties at all connections
Install a continuous ridge vent with proper shingle overlay
Enhance the fascia and soffit ventilation
